Every website is planned and built around the business, its content and the journeys its customers need to complete.
Every website is planned and developed individually around the business, its content, its identity and the journeys its customers need to complete. Feral Online does not reskin a fixed website template.
01
Start with the customer's job.
A useful website should answer the questions that matter, make important information easy to find and provide a clear route towards calling, visiting, booking, buying or making an enquiry. The page structure and content should follow those customer journeys rather than an arbitrary template.
02
Shape the content around the real business.
Feral Online works from accurate source material supplied by the client, then structures, writes and refines the website copy so it is clear, consistent and useful. The client remains responsible for checking factual, legal and commercially important information before launch.
03
Build search and performance foundations in.
Titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, image text alternatives, structured data, indexability and page speed are considered during the build. Structured technical checks before and after launch help catch implementation problems without turning the work into a ranking or performance-score guarantee.
04
Protect useful signals when replacing a website.
Existing URLs and relevant search signals are reviewed before an established site is replaced. Useful paths are preserved where sensible, changed URLs receive direct redirects and the production site is checked after launch. Search Console checks are completed when the client provides the required access or verification.
05
Connect the journeys customers already use.
Straightforward forms, maps and links to existing booking, ordering or other customer platforms can be included where they fit the project. Custom systems, payments, live data synchronisation and complex integrations are scoped separately.
06
Keep the important accounts under client control.
Domains, analytics, Search Console and other business-critical accounts should remain client-owned. Once the agreed project is fully paid, the finished website can be moved without using hosting as lock-in.
