Released macOS app
Developed by Feral Online
LaterLoom
A native Mac app for capturing notes, tasks and ideas, then resurfacing deferred work when it is time to make a fresh decision.
Deferred does not have to mean forgotten.
Capturing a task or idea is easy. The harder problem is deciding when it should return without allowing deferred work to disappear into an endless someday list. LaterLoom treats postponement as a future decision rather than a hiding place.
Give later a real timeframe.
Work can be placed into meaningful Later buckets instead of one undifferentiated backlog. Each choice records when the item should become relevant again.
Return old decisions for review.
When a Later window expires, the item returns through Needs re-timing. The user can act, reschedule or make a different decision with the current context in view.
Explain why work appears today.
The Today view distinguishes work that is due, deliberately focused or planned for that day. Surfacing is explained rather than presented as an unexplained priority list.
Keep AI optional and user-controlled.
LaterLoom is offline-first, can sync through the user's private iCloud account and provides explicit exports. Optional OpenRouter features are off by default, require the user's own API key and run only when the user initiates an AI action.
